Indian Army JCO (Catering)

JCO Eligibility Criteria:

Age: 21 to 27 years on the 1st August of the year.

Education: Passed senior Secondary Exam and have a diploma/certificate in Hotel management/Cookery minimum 1 year duration .

Physical: A candidate must be physically fit and free from all diseases.

Fitness Test:

Physical fitness test is divided in four parts-

  • 1 mile run in maximum time of 6.20 minutes.
  • Pull up of minimum 6
  • Balancing
  • 9 feet ditching

Medical fitness: A candidate must be mentally and medically fit and free from all diseases. Candidate should have normal vision and hearing for each of eye and ear.

Written Test:

Only those candidates who qualify Fitness test will go through written test.

Aptitude and Knowledge: 180 Minutes

JCO Interview:

Those candidates who qualify in written exam will go through interview process. Those who get selected in interview will go for Military Training.

Indian Army publish advertisement in Employment Newspaper with instructions for various posts.

Indian Navy Steward Recruitment

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must have 10 class passed certificate.

Age: Minimum 17 years and maximum 21 years. Relexation as per norms.

Nationality and Marital Status: nationality same as for Artificer Apprentice Indian Navy

Physical Criteria & Medical Fitness: same as physical criteria for Artificer Apprentice Indian Navy

Training in Indian Navy:

The training will generally be 15 weeks basic training at INS Chilka followed by professional training at respective Naval establishments as per trade.

Navy Service period :

The period of the initial engagement in The Indian Navy is 15 years. However, service period is extendable with maximum limit of 57 years of age which depends on the satisfactory performance during Job.
